Dish 622 TV2

I have been putting off getting the 622 HD DVR because of the issues with controlling TV2 via USB or similar IR emitter.

As far as I know, the TV2 output in 622 can only be controlled via UHF and not IR. I want to use TV2 as input for sage (while TV1 for my HDTV).
Anyone has any ideas?
