IR prefix for each channel change

I asked about this a few years ago and just wondered if it had been implemented yet.

My satelite receiver occasionally gets updated and resets itself, in doing so its left in standby.. either that or it crashes. Regardless its ready for action if you press the on button, or crucially the sky button. Thankfully pressing the sky button if its already on has NO effect.

As such it'd be ideal if i could add a prefix to my actisys infrared channel numbers so that it would send this sky button press, possibly pause tho the current pause between presses should be sufficient, and then send the number of the desired channel.. ie. 106

I'd even be happy (though less happy than setting a prefix somewhere once) to go through and change all the channels to have a channel number of for example, x106 with x being mapped to the button press i want.

Is there a way to do this currently? either single prefix or by adding a special character to all my channel numbers?

It'd mean that at most i'd only lose a single recording if my satelite had reset itself, rather than the rest of that days recordings till i spot the red light instead of the green one!
