Stuttering
I am using SageTV off an AMD 1800 w/512MB RAM and Placeshifter on a 1500mhz Laptop. I get stuttering even when using the LAN connection. Sometimes it a bunch of stutters in a few seconds. Other times it's isolated. My video files are on a separate hard drive that's been allocated 64K. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should change or look into to create flawless streaming performance? I could understand a few stutters on the IP connection, but not on the LAN. I'm using WPA security if that matters.
