Weather Icons

I don't have the weather icons anymore after joining the computer to a domain. I've checked all permissions and even made the account sage runs an enterprise admin but still no luck. I'm sure it's a setting in a config file but in weatherconfig.xml I have it pointing to the correct directory with a backslash after the entry. Is this set somewhere else in version 4?

Have you tried to add the local users as local admins on that machine?

1.) Control Panel --> User Accounts --> Advanced (tab) --> Advanced (button)

2.) Local Users and Groups window opens: Left side click on Groups, Right side double click on "Administrators". Hit the Add button

3.) In the Select Users, Computers, or Groups window enter the name of the logon accout you use for running Sage. Hit OK

Keep hitting OK to back out of all the open windows.

Reboot that machine.

Tried with no luck

Is that configuration only in the weatherconfig.xml file? Is there a way to log the error?

IIRC, you may get some info if you enable SageTV's debug logging. See the FAQ for instructions on that.

Another thing to try would be to enable the security logging that is built into Windows.

Of course, it's possible that this is not a security related problem at all, but one or both of the methods above should help you determine that.
