comskip for New Zealand

Hi just wondering if anyone has got the comskip plugin configured for NZ, at the moment it is not detecting the adverts corectly. Is so can you please post the comskip.ini so others can download it.

Thanks.
Scott.

Hi Scott, from a Kiwi living in Kansas!

With Comskip, do you have the .ini file in a location that is in the path? It's best to put comskip.exe, comskip.ini and the dictionary file in the windows directory. If the ini file isn't in the path you'll get terrible detection but otherwise it's pretty good...at least with the US shows over here.

Thanks for the reply rp1790. Kansas ay, nice

Yes both the .exe and .ini are in the same directory (SageTV directory), some of the adverts are picked up ok but others are way off, will try a few things and see how I get on.

Cheers.
Scott.

Ah ha, thats exactly what will cause the problem. It's what I did initially. If you put both of them in the Windows directory it should work a lot better.

It's caused by the .ini file not actually being found in the path, compskip.exe doesn't look in the same directory as the exe for the ini file.
