Volume changes when media changes.

I have had 5.0.3 installed for about a week. The past few days I have been getting a strange problem with the volume on my main server. I am not running as a service. Whenever I change channels, or change to recorded tv, the volume starts very loud. When I go to lowere the volume it immmediately goes to the lowest volume. It is not keeping the previous volume. I haven't made any changes to the system excpt for the 5.0.3 install. I have a chaintek 710 using spdif to a reciever. I have had it setup this way for about a year with no problems. Is there a setting in the properties file for this or could this be a bug?

I am using sageMC 16X9, and my volume issue is happening when I go into the advanced settings menu. When I return back to the main screen, The volume gets louder. It doesn't seem to be remembering the previous volume level. I looked for a setting in the properties file but I didn't see anything. This doesn't happen in the regular STV. Anyone have any ideas?

I have seen a few reports of sound problems with the chaintek / spdif and SageMC (although I have the exact same setup as you and have no problems at all ...). Try to disable the internal sounds (just rename the 'Sounds' folder in STVs\SageTV3\SageMCE) and see if this will help ...

Thanks for the reply. I already tried that. I was having the problem of the sound not working after I played a DVD. That fixed it. I installed your addon this morning. Nice Work!!
