Licensing questions
I know that the keys are registered on the server, but how exactly is PlaceShifter licensed? Are these licenses per device or per user? Can I use one license to connect two computers (my desktop at home and my system at work) as long as they are both used by me and are not used simultaneously?
I'm curious because I've just been told that I'm now forced to take a 20 minute unpaid lunch whether I want to or not. It'd be a good opportunity to watch a 30-minute sitcom. |

The extender/placeshifter licenses are for the number of simultaneous connections -- if you have X licenses, you can have that many current connections. So, with one license, you could connect from several locations, as long as only 1 location is active at any one time.

Great, thanks.
If it's not already up there, you guys should put that on the web site. That's a nice change from the "Client" licenses. |
