Disable the Windows screensaver and use the Sage screensaver.

Disable the screensaver (and power management) through windows. Enable screensaver on sleep in SageTV Detailed Settings. You can also change the time-out for the sage screensaver in Detailed Settings as well. I think that should do it for you.
Aloha, Mike Edit: This will only work for you if you use the computer exclusively for sage. By 'standby' do you mean that you put sage to sleep and use the computer for other purposes?

Yes - Sage is always running but 90% of the time in the background (taskbar) I use the system for everything and it is on a plasma so burn-in is an issue.
Essentially what it seems like your saying is to use the slideshow w/o screensave interruption I have to shut of windows SS each time? Why wouldnt Sage simply override the windows SS like it does when I am watching TV? |
