Can't get "video settings" to stick for restart?

I have a Hauppauge WinTV PVR-150, current drivers installed, and running SageTV 4 (although this isn't really a sagetv issue I dont think?).

I calibrate my card by running DScaler, turning on the Histogram Filter, and going to Adjust Video Settings. I set the brightness/contrast to that of good quality for the histogram. Then quit DScaler.

Going over to SageTV and watching some live TV, the correction obviously has taken, as SageTV now looks good.

It will stay this way until I restart, at which point the card defaults to bleeding whites and nasty blacks. I have to load up DScaler, then go to the video settings, and simply 'click' on each slider control and it resets the settings (because they are still at where I had them, but the card isnt?!).

Then its all fine again until I restart.

AGH!

How do I get these settings to STICK???
