24 hour clock

Hi,

how can I get Sage 5.0 to display a 24-hour clock without selecting my native language German as the UI language. That selection does switch the clock from am/pm to 24h, but it also comes with, let's say, suboptimal labels on the menu items. How can I get just the clock, but with English? Thanks!
