I remember when you would hit delete after watching a show with the stop pop-up screen and it would bring you back to the main screen.

A few builds ago, it would take you to the MY TV screen.

Now it takes you to the last screen viewed.

Can I edit where it takes you after you press delete on the pop-up screen after watching the tv show?
Nope, this is currently not possible, but I could add an option to go to the My TV menu instead ...

Dirk,

Please add the option to go to the My TV menu or the last screen or the main screen.

Thank you

Thanks!

Thanks Dirk for the added features I asked for... show graphic on the Guide and the text size for the clock!

Sugestions

I've just started using SageTV and SageMC and it's absolutlely amazing, great work.

I've 2 sugestions to improve it even further.

1 - When viewing a video file with no extra info (no description) in the top of the screen you get an area with the filename and below it another area for the description, wich in this case appears completly blank, is there a way to detect if there is no description to not display this area (if one is using VRM9 it is transparent, but if you are using overlay you get a black rectangle ontop of the video), I think that in the liveTV this doens't happen.

2 - In the My Videos, when you choose Play Another File, you get the standart SageTV3 menu, is it possible to change this to display the files in the My Videos menu, just like the imported Videos (so you can use the display settings).

Keep up the good work

Once you have loaded the latest SageMC xml file, you will see the SageMC options on the same page as the "Load Application Package" option, at the very bottom

Maybe I still don't get it. I have done exactly what Dirk outlined but I don't see any new menu's, settings, etc. Is there any way to tell if I am running the correct STV package. Maybe an file or something. This is all because I would like to get to the settings about returning the last channel?, so my ripped DVD will play correctly. thanks

Go into "Settings" from the main menu. On the right side you see the current SageMC STV version displayed (right below the Java version).

Just wanted some one to enlighten me on how to change the IMDB picture when the wrong one is selected.

This is what I tried...

1) Selected the show
2) Selected the option window to do an IMDB search
3) Choose correct listing from IMDB options
4) Everything shows (Trivia, Quotes, etc...)

But there is no option to save the selection as the default.

Your help is greatly appreciated...

Click your 'options' button again, you will see "save" when you are viewing the new IMDB data.

Did you scroll down on the right side to see if the version is lower on that page?

It looks like you may have installed the older sagemc_169.stv file instead of the sagemc_169.xml file. If that is the case you will have to exit sage and open the sage.properties file (or sageclient.properties file if you are using the SageTV service) and do a search for '.stv'. You should find the property line that specifies what UI is loaded. Change the '.stv' to '.xml'. Then Save and exit and restart sage.

The other possibility is that maybe you have downloaded mlbdude's latest dev build instead of flachbar's? If so, go back up a few posts and follow the link in flachbar's signature. Hope this helps.

Aloha,
Mike

Weird ...

By any chance, do you have a net/sf/sageplugins folder in your SageTV directory ?

Hi BBCritical,

I currently don't use Sage for my music. But if 5.1 will support FLAC tags I might consider to ditch Meedio for an all-in-one solution. In this case the Music Library would certainly get some more attention ...

Dirk, I was a number of releases behind and love the changes that were made! The Picture Album changes are nice too. It is nice to be able to view a picture in the middle of a folder and be able to advance forward or backward from there.

I do however have a problem with pictures. At the top level I have some named folders and some with the year (1996, 1997... 2006). When it comes up each time as "sort by date", I see all of the folders with names and then only 1996 and 2006. The years in between are missing. If I switch to "Sort by Name" then I see the folders for the years in between. Also, 1996 is the only folder named by year that shows sample thumbnails on the folder icon. The other years show a blank folder. Any ideas?

Hey Flachbar, another quick question: Do you read .my files in the video import library? And if not, would it be hard to add

I do!

It contains CVS, rssnewsfeed, sagemdb, sagemenu and sageutils folders. All except the cvs folder hace class files in them.

Andy,

get rid of it, and your problems should be gone !

Sage is picking up the (old) class files from this folder instead of the ones in the JARs ...
