But, hmm, I personally find them pretty similar, so what exactly do you miss in the SageMC layout ? Dirk |

OK, stupid question.
I tried this again (after not using it for a long time), how do you disable the video background? |

I was thinking...
Any chance of including webradio, movie showtimes, and the new DVD burner thing into sageMC by default. I think given that those imports are generally small it would be nice to have them nicely integrated into sageMC. They could be enabled/disabled in the extras and all the setting could be managed in the sageMC settings. Just a though- but it would be slick! Thanks, Mike |

Hi,
I've just installed on v5. All works great. Three questions please: I have managed to remove all the items off the initial menu, apart from my dvd, that just wont go. Is it possible to click on the first menu to select my TV, I only seem to be able to do it with the keyboard If I go into setup, advanced there is no option there to configure sagemc options. thanks. |

The imports are rather simple to add, and once you've done it once (using the Custom Menus) from the main menu, you never have to change anything in the STV again, just import the imports, and you're done.

E.g. my layout is: Code:
| + Camera +- 2004 +- 05_06_2004 +- pic001 +- pic002 +- ... +- 05_08_2004 +- ... +- 2005 +- ... +- ... 2004 2005 2006 ... on the top level, and when I select 2004 I see folders for 05_06_2004 05_08_2004 ... etc. Is this different to what you are seeing ? Dirk |

I am setting up .my files for some TV shows that I have and was wandering what all fields in the .my file does sagemc utilize? I dont wanna fill in a whole lot of data if its not needed.

Send to Archive in Stop Screen
Possible bug--I can't get the the Send to Archive button on the stop screen pop-up to work. The one on the show details screen works fine.

Your are ofcourse correct. I forgot about this way as I use MC only on my TV, using the standard UI on my PC, and almost always access Sage through my TV. So for me it's 'easier' to change in the properties file. But again, the 'standard' way would be through SageMC itself, no need to stop the service. Jan

Just wondering ... did you select only the top directory (in Dirk's example that would be 'Camera') in your picture directories setup? In case you did select all lower directories I would guess you get all pictures straight away displayed (haven't tried it though). Quote:
I'm not sure if that's what it is you are looking for (Dirk seemed to indicate it was not possible, so maybe I misunderstood ...) What the standard UI however does is display for each directory a different icon (I have mostly the CD cover in it), MC doesn't do that. All that work I did getting these pictures for nothing

One more quick question for like say Actors would I use the tag "MyFileTVActors" or "TVActors" or does it matter(I know TVActors is working right now), the list I got off another thread was a little different.

You are right, it should be "TVActors" and not "MyFileTVActors", etc Dirk |

It could be left-overs (are those ever good after a week?), from a problem that using SageMC caused, where it would somehow change that setting, without you knowing about it. So, could have been that issue. It's since been fixed, but I know it was there, because I think I was one of those that pointed it out.
