Scheduling trouble

I have configured my SageTV Server with 24x4x1hour manual recordings with daily repeat. (4 channels recording 24/7 with 1 hour files).

The server is currently configured to use 6 tuners (3xPVR500). I'm using v5.02

Now, SageTV seems to be mixed up about what and when to record. Several hours I have more than one recording for some channels. Mostly they seem to start one recording at xx:59 which runs for an hour and then one other recording at xx:00 that also runs for one hour.

I have disable intelligent recording. I have padding to 0 (at least I think I have it to 0 since I haven't set it to anything else and the stvi for adjusting padding also states 0).

I am 100% sure I've entered all the recording schedules correct, but when I'm looking at the schedule pages in SageTV it seems that it sometimes wants to record the same channel twice and other times it doesn't want to record some channels at all.

What should I do to get a correct schedule?

I wanted to enable debugging, so I stopped the SageTV server and added the debugging command to the properties file and started up the SageTV service again. Now I just lost all the recording schedules.

The debug log claims to update a lot of schedules but when I open the GUI and looks at Schedule Recordings there is nothing there.

HELP

Are you using the standard Recording Schedule screen, or a custom one. If it is a custom one in any way, make sure to try viewing one of the default Recording Schedule versions.

Regarding the schedule for all those timed recordings, I would send the log to SageTV & explain what should be recording to see what they have to say about it.

I gave up, removed my database, removed all sources and recreated the whole system, now with a different approach on the sources. I now use one lineup for each recordoer with only one channel in each recorder. This gives less flexibility, but I don't need that, since I'm recording each channel 24/7 anyway.

Well, now after a powerfailure, my computer restarted and when SageTV service loaded it did not manage to load the scheduled recordings again. Now I'm back to square one - no recordings in my list. And I can't add them again since SageTV complains about conflicting recordings (beat that!) :-( (I've tried looking at every possible known schedule page)

Anyone experienced this? It can't be that SageTV can't handle 120 (5 channels with 24 one hour recordings each) scheduled jobs that repeats on a daily basis?

As I suggested above: Report this & send the log from the server to SageTV so they can determine what is happening.

I have reported it to SageTV Support, but since I'm in Europe and support normally answers my mail at earliest 02 am (my local time) I also tried here in the forums where I can reach so many knowlegdeable SageTV users.
