Sage Extender "SOLD OUT"
I went to buy an extender from teh homepage today, and they are sold out...
So, my question is if i run out to Best Buy and buy the MVP, all I need to do is grab an extender client license and it will work as described here: http://www.sage.tv/extender.html?sageSub=tv My emphasis is in the part that lists Divx and Xvid as being supported... I amn sure that the basis PVR functionaly will work fine, but I seem to remeber that at one time the MVP didnt support the divx format, which is why i waited till now to buy one. Any input is appreciated.

It will work fine. Divx support is through transcoding on the server end though. I know my AthlonXP 2000 doesn't keep up--almost-but not quite. You would want to buy the extender license. Hope this helps,
JUC

Well, yesterday I visited Best Buy, Curcuit City, and wal-mart... No MVP anywhere. So I dropped an email aksing Sage to lemme know when they are in stock. Yea, I could visit PCalchemy and buy from them, but if I am gonna order over the 'net", I'd rather support Sage and pay them.
Now, what am I gonna do with the SageTV Client license I am not gonna be using anymore?
