Pinnacle Systems 500-pci

I just got a great deal on a 500-pci capture card from Pinnacle.
It works great using s-video and audio from my VCR under Studio 10.

I was not recognized under SageTV as a video source, but it uses the Conexant hardware decoder chip.

How can I get it to be seen under SageTV?

After I get all of my old VHS home videos transferred from the VCR to disk, I want to connect this card as my input for my cable STB.

Oops - pilot error.

I tried it again and it worked !
Now I have all capture devices showing.
Now I have to set up the STB and I should be good to go.

New problem with this setup.

I can't record without turning off the output of my MB audio hardware.

I get delayed echo feedback and can't play and record at the same time.

Time to try something else.
