350 pvr recorded radio not tv show

hey all I have a 350pvr and the other night, I was out and was not able to see my fav. show, so I set sage to record. So I get home and I see oh the show has been recorded, I hit play and all I see is an black screen and hear the radio. This is odd, why would the radio be reorded and not the show visual or audio?

also how do I set sage to record all the episodes of a show everytime a new one is aired?

Do you use any other software that uses the FM tuner? If so: there is only 1 encoder on the card, so you can either record FM or TV, not both. If something else has the FM tuner in use, then SageTV can't use the TV tuner & you get a recording of the radio. If you want to use the FM radio, you could try the new FM import file in the customizations section of this forum.

Use the Favorites feature to setup shows that you want to have recorded automatically. In v5, you can open the PDF manual from Setup -> Help -> View Manual. Page 23 has a "getting started" blurb about Favorites & there is more detail starting on p. 65.

now that I think about it I did have the software scheduler that came with my 350 setup to record an show around the same time as sage was. So this might be the reseason that it recorded the fm statation since the turner was already in use..
