Thumbs up Cat’s Eye 164e PCI-e dual tuner

Looks like Vbox is ready to release this pci-e dual tuner HD/Ntsc card. It now says "New" at their website but I could not yet find any available at the sites they list (PCAlcemy, etc.). Couldn't find a price either.

Will Sage support this or will it take a while? Sounds great to be able to finally use those pci-e/1 slots.

Randy

Not that I really expected it, but no mention of QAM.

I didnt see mention of it either, however if you look at their diagram (which looks like it was made in MS paint) they do show a cable box plugged directly into the card so maybe QAM support?

Why would it need a cable box connected to it for QAM?

FYI - these are available on EBAY now. Which means they should be available by 'regular' retailers very soon!

I am getting one as we speak.

Hi Jason,

Are these truly AVAILABLE now? I know that there was one dealer on ebay that has been taking 'preorders' for several months. I'd be interested in getting one also if it really is possible to get one now. Please post when it arrives (and if it is supported by Sage).
