DVD burning software
I finally got all my DVDs ripped using DVDshrink. Now I'm looking to burn them to CD. My movie directory is set up so Sage can read it like this:
MovieName\VIDEO_TS\files Is there an easy to use program that I can get that I can burn without having to move files around. I'm not impressed with Nero, I am looking for something that is simple to use. Any ideas? What are you guys using?

What's wrong with Nero? I'm using Nero Recode and picking the directory and having it burn to a single-sided DVD. Quick and easy. Also if you have Nero you can burn with DVD Shrink. DVD Shrink can give you a little better quality-but not much.

well... nero came with my DVD burner... and it was working ok.. but after I installed Sage, showtime would freeze up and i am not fond of the menus (it's some suite thing that has like 20 different things to do).
After about a month of using it, it won't work anymore and i'm not sure i want to buy it. I'm looking for something cheap and simple.. i'll check out recode though. If it has a nice UI then I'll be happy.

But you should be able to burn from DVD Shrink if Nero is installed. Previously this would work even with the demo version. Not sure if that is true anymore. Clicking on the backup button will allow you to set the burn options using Nero. It will also burn with CopytoDVD program.

You could use the "Select folder for temponary files option" above the back-up target one is the location that DVD Shrink will put the DVD files before burning them. You would just need to set that on each rip and it will then burn it after it is done ripping.
Also check out this product but it is not free. http://www.shrinkto5.com/default.asp It includes a burner plugin that allows you to right-click on the video_ts folder and choose to burn it. Check out the demo. Free version has adverts. Gerry

well aside from DVDshrink, I have DVDdecrypter and PGCedit which can make sure I have a copy of whatever I own.
I will check out the freeware of this.. I think I might look at nero recode first and give it another shot. Thanks for the tips!
