Guide On / Guide Off
Is there a guide on, guide off command. For Tivo users who press guide and then guide again if we are trying to ween them off Tivo, we need this feature otherwise it's not intuitive to use either the Back or Home commands.
Thanks, Mike |

You mean to go back & forth between the Program Guide & the playback screen? If so, I answered that question for you here.
If you are talking about a mini-guide that is shown on the playback screen, that is a customization. - Andy

When I switched from my cable company DVR to Sage I missed the exact same thing - a simple toggle for the Guide. After I got familiar with Studio I modified the behavior of the guide button myself to go back to the previous screen, it works fine. But please note that you'll loose the functionality to reset the guide to the current time column (the old behavior) - but if I really need it I simply press the guide button twice and achieve the same ...
Well, I got into the habit of writing an import for all the little additions I make to my personal STV, so it shouldn't be too hard to single this one out into a separate import for you. Let me know if you would still be interested in something like this - it might take a little while though ... Dirk |

Dirk - actually, I think it will be okay because my wife is okay with using either the Back or Menu button but this other problem with the guide occurring on my computer has me baffled:
