Power Saving Questions

Hello - I have a few questions.

I have Sage Control set up on my server which works great and I'm thinking I probably don't want any power saving options on the server as far as turning of the hard disks or system standby. But for my client workstations I'm thinking I should turn off the hard disks after a certain time and also put it in system standby. I'm thinking I want to put it in system standby so that it saves energy, has a longer life and it is even quieter at night. So, here are my questions:

1. On my client workstations - what triggers the "system standby" in windows? I wouldn't want it to go into standby while watching a show. What do most of you set it to (ie: 15 minutes, 30 minutes, etc) if at all.

2. What do you think is a good setting to turn off the hard disks on the workstations? Obviously it doesn't affect any show recordings since they are all done on my file server.

3. What is the purpose if any of putting Sage to sleep? Right now I have my TV Off button on my remote stop Live TV, put Sage at the main menu and it turns off the TV so is there any purpose in putting Sage to sleep if the TV is off anyway?

4. Should I use any kind of energy saving settings on the file server? I turn the monitor off manually so that is not an issue. I'm more thinking with the hard disk and system standby. In general I have no problem leaving the hard disks and system running all the time but I'm just checking. I'm thinking it's probably more wise to keep the server and hard disks on the server running all the time so that it does not miss any time when recording shows.
