noob livetv sagetv client question
I record and/or (watch live for pausing) hockey using sagetv, but the program guide info only alots for 2 hrs 30 mins per game. Many games especially in playoffs due to sudden death OT go for much longer.
here is my question: If I am watching livetv from a sagetv client(so I can pause livetv) and the program ends, If I don't change the channel will that channel continue to be recorded? Or do I lose the show at the end of the time slot? Sorry if this is covered by some other faq, but I couldn't find the answer. thanks in advance!

I have the same concern when I watch sporting events. I typically just record them and adjust the stop time for an extra 90 minutes. Only takes a few seconds to do and is the safest way. But I will test the pause theory and see what happens myself.
