MCE Remote w/HIP loses connection

Hi,

I've been using my MCE2005 remote with SageTV 4 and just recently figured out how to get HiP to enable all of he remote's buttons (with thehelp of a HiP profile I found in the forums here).

The problem is that ever since I installed the HiP compatible driver for the remote, the remote periodically loses its connection and either I have to login to my Sage box and restart HiP or unplug and re-plugin my USB receiver to get the remote to work again.

So far I haven't noticed any pattern for when it loses connection. Sometimes it's after just a few minutes (like between commericals of a TV show), sometimes it's overnight, sometimes it's when Sage goes to sleep.

The receiver still lights up when I press buttons, so I know the remote is working, but for some reason the receiver stops relaying the commands.

Any ideas what might be going on?
