Sage keeps crashing???
I don't understand why I am experiencing this problem but it is really starting to annoy me!
I can run Sage, Watch tv, movies or music but at the end of the day around 9:00pm Sage starts to break up and pixelate for no apparent reason. After 3 minutes of this pixelation and cracking sounds, I get a Windows error message that read Sagetv.exe has performed an error and must be terminated. I am tempted to blow it away and reinstall in the hopes that it will correct the problem but I wanted to check with everyone if they are also experiencing this problem and if a resolution was found other than reinstalling. I am running Satellite TV (RCA DSS receiver) and Time warner for local access. Server specs below: Dual Xeon 2.6 2GB DDR RAM 3 100GB Drives 2 80GB Drives WindowsXPPRO Hauppage PVR250 ATI All-inWonder 9700 Pro Sound Blaster 512 Any assistance is greatly appreciated. |

Are you using the latest drivers from Hauppauge listed on their website?

Another thing to check would be: Do you have intelligent recording turned on? If so, try turning it off a bit and see if it helps. (Perhaps shuffling/searching from IR is taking up too much memory?) I could only be 100% stable for weeks at a time with intelligent recording off myself.
Another thing to check is if you're running out of disk space. If so, it might be time for another hard disk... Perhaps limiting the max. size of virtual memory would help? |

Search for a file called drwtsn32.log. If you can find this file and it has a time/date stamp of when you received your last error, open the file and jump to the end, take a look at the information surrounding the last error and post that here. It may help to narrow down the problem.
