Video window (some channels) issues
On some channels, mostly HD, there is a vertical green line present.
On others, non-HD, there is a distorted black/white signal across the top of the video window. Very annoying and distracting. Media Center 2005 and BeyondTV do not exhibit these behaviors, but Sage is my personal favorite, so I'd like to know how to adjust the video window to get rid of these problems. |

I don't know about the vertical green line (unless it is at the very edge of the screen, in which case, the next solution will also work), but for the line at the top of the screen, see: Small black-and-white dotted line at the top of all channels watching livetv.

I've tried adjusting these with successful results on one channel, but now, most of the other channels are being cut-off (not seeing full video). Is there a per-channel setting for this? I tried the same channels in BeyondTV again with no problems. Must be something else that can be done.

It is a universal setting used for the Aspect Ratio that you set it for. (Each AR uses its own stretch & offset values.)
The 'missing' video with that distorted line is actually what is in the overscan area on a regular TV, so you wouldn't normally see the portion outside the TV's display area. It only becomes an issue when you know it is there in the recording. - Andy

The 'missing' video on the distorted channel is fixed (only a few channels had this problem), it's other channels that are now missing parts of valid video. (i.e. Weather channel is cut-off on the top where the time should be displayed). Do I need to go back to modify the aspect settings for these channels?

There is no per-channel aspect ratio settings. My guess is that you changed the settings too much so that more of the video is off the screen than needs to be.
