Couple of newbie questions

Hey all --

I've read through documentation, and tried searching on the forums, but was unable to find the answers to these questions. They are probably there and I just missed them, in which case I apologize for the excessive questioning:

1. Is there an import/other way to set Favorites to record shows only after a certain date? For instance, can I set a show to only record when the original air date is after June 2004, for example.

2. Is there an import/other way to view a comprehensive list of shows that have First Runs for the next week?

No, there is no favorite setting to limit recordings in that way.

Probably not for just the next week.

But, you can filter any search result to include only First Runs -- use the Options comamnd after a search & set the Display Filter. If you Search All Fields & just input a space, it will find almost all future shows.

Or, you can use the unofficial extras & go to the Custom Menus from the Schedule Recordings menu. There, you can modify one of the 3 customizable Guides to include only First Runs via the Options command & setting the Display Filter.
