Question Any chance of PcAlchemy getting Extenders? :)

PCAlchemy has such nice deals on most of Sage's line, it'd be nice if they'd eventually get the SageTV Extender instock.

Thanks :P

Might even be a better to mention this over at PCAlchemy? Seeing they don't even carry the MVP at all.

It actually used to be on their site in the PVR Tuner section, Probably removed it since Hauppauge wasn't shipping them for a few months.

I've already e-mailed PCAlchemy They said they were trying to get them instock, but were having issues getting them.

Given that PCAlchemy seems to be the *only* online store I know of, besides the SageTV store, that carries anything related to SageTV, I figured I'd bring it up here.

I've seen the Media MVP on their site, but that's not what I'm looking for. I want the Sage Extender. :P

Heh, I just noticed that Sage increased the price of the extender in the SageTV store to $109.95...

No more sub $100 extender!

It's the exact same hardware.

the difference is the one from sagetv store comes with extender license. So at $110, the MVP is about $80 + $30 license from SageTV store, which is a nice deal. Was even better when it was $99 before the shortage.

I guess I got lucky - I got mine from Sage just before the price increase. Did notive that the one I seems to be the Hauppauge unit. I know they are the same, but the picture on Sage's site makes it look a little different.

BTW, the latest units have SPDIF out.

Hence the statement "exact same hardware." PC Alchemy also offers Sage bundles so there's no reason to think they won't do it with the MVP.
