Scheduling API ?

Is/has access to Favorites and scheduling been open in Studio for us to modify or develop?

For example:

* ability to intercept/interfere with Favorites
* ability to rewrite the available fields and behavior of Favorites
* ability to search the EPG and take actions, not necessarily related to scheduling a recording

I have a whole bunch of ideas for SageTV improvements, but they all hinge on being able to analyze the EPG and analyze the Favorites (or use a modified Favorites system).

I don't mean to pull an RTFM on you, but have you read through the FavoriteAPI and ShowAPI sections of the online API docs? I think you might find most of what you need in there.

Remember that the standard STV uses these same APIs to generate its displays, so every piece of information you see on screen must be accessible through the API somehow.
