DVB-T files Still not playable through MVP
Using 4.1.12 beta: files I record using the native sage dvb-t suppport are not playable through my MVP. This happens with both TS and normal capture methods. There was a beta (can't remember which one though) that produced files that the MVP could play fine, however there were other issues with it.
If i use the SBDA Recorder plugin the MVP plays back the files with no problems. Is this something screwy in my setup? I'd appreciate it if someone can confirm that this is a problem with the latest beta's and MVP playback. |

Alfiegerner,
I have exactly the same problem - when using an MVP and the latest beta, I get only a black screen and sound. Things seemed to work OK in 4.1.6 (except for Channel 4, E4 and E4+1). I submitted a bug report several weeks ago. |

I have the same problem also.
Even tried building a new server over the weekend, but still had the same problem. |

Best to submit a bug report, hopefully that will keep the issue on the agenda.

Hi Alfiegerner,
I have the same problems. Think the sort of working version was around ver 4.1.6. Something else I have noticed is when playing DVB-T files on my client PC, is that if the file is in 16:9 format and the adverts are in 4:3 format the picture will freeze but the sound will continue. The only way around this is to rew/ff to get past the point at witch the format changes. This also happens if I use BDA DVB Network Encoder. Has anyone else noticed this or is it my set up. Dean |

deanm, that's odd ... I've not seen that condition, although so far i normally play the BDA files through my mvp. Have you tried different decoders? I remember having sticking issues with some decoders on a client pc but I can't remember which ones they were.
