HD Recordings -- Thin white line at the bottom of the screen

When I playback my HD recordings (Firewire or OTA sources) I get a thin white line on the bottom of the screen.

I can correct this by adjusting the vertical offset to about +35 -- but all this does is offset the image down on the screen which works to solve the problem but the image is no longer centered.

Is there any other method to resolve this?
