Questions on Video & Command Prompt & Remote
I installed with no major problem. I am running a GeForce FX 5500. Using s-video to TV. When booting up I can see video on both the monitor and the TV,but when SageTV starts I lose the TV but still have the monitor. I checked the video setting in SageTV and its set for Composite/SVideo. Any Ideas?
Also how do you stop SageTV and get to the command prompt? I have been using putty to get in to the system or is this the only way? Any idea why the remote is not working? I am running 2 PVR-150 and have the silver 45 button remote. In the windows version of SageTV you selected which remote to use, but I don't remember or can't find the remote setup in this version. TIA OK I tried unplugging the monitor and now SageTV show up on the TV, but audio is very low, so how do I get back to the audio adjust I used during setup? OK figured out the audio and the remote. For the remote had to use putty to set Sage.properties: linux/ir_input_pvr150=0 to 1 vice 0 and to fix the audio had to call: alsamixer -c 0 to get to the audio mixer. Still don't know how to stop SageTV with out rebooting or to get to the command prompt without going through Putty. Last edited by mrrrl; 04-02-2006 at 06:19 PM. |
