Funny refresh on TV
Hi,
I recently upgraded my hardware to an EVGA 6600 nvidia pci-e video card. I'm using the Component out for the card and when I play back on my TV during fast motion or bright scenes with motion I'm seeing what looks like a refresh line, maybe reffered to as screen tearing? I see it in two places, horizontally across the picture at the top 1/4 and bottom 1/4 of the screen. Only in video playback. The OSD is fine, the desktop shows fine, other applications are ok as well. Here is what I'm running: Latest Nvidia Drivers Latest Nforce 4 chipset Drivers Directx 9c VMR9 no FSE (But it's the same with FSE on) Nvidia Pure Video Codec I run two screens - one 17" LCD monitor set as primary and the TV set as secondary display. Here's the weird thing in the driver, the only way I could use the Composite output of the video card was to use an 'HDTV' choice in the driver setup - but I have a 32" SDTV. I tested it as regular old SDTV off the svideo connection from the card and it does the same thing with the refresh lines. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |
