HELP !!!!! Remote code
I am such an idiot. I was trying to program the 4 buttons around the center in the MediaMVP remote and accidently changed the select command to up. Now I cannot open anything or use anything.
Can someone please post the 5 didgit code for the select command. You can find it my going to detaiked setup, view commands linked to button and then press the select. Woule really appreciate it. Thanks P.S. You should have a RemoteClients.properties file in sagetv. The number should be in ui/rc_mappings/select= Last edited by jimmyb; 03-27-2006 at 03:02 PM. |

You can just clear the codes for the commands that are not assigned correctly & they will get reset the next time you use the MVP. You won't see the default values in the MVP's properties file, because they aren't stored there unless you customize them.
Now that I think about it, you can see the default values in RemoteClients.properties.defaults, which is in your SageTV directory. - Andy

Ahhhh well I just removed the code from Clients properties thinking the rest had to stay there. I also removed code from RemoteClients thinking it was the wrong one.
I did find an old copy of RemoteClients on anotehr computer, entered commands (both locations) and all is well. Thx for your patience as always all knowing one. |
