convert a client license to placeshifter license?

I find we're not using the client license anymore. I tried placeshifter and it only gives you a 7 day trial. I'd like to try it a bit more...so... is there a way to transfer a client license to a placeshifter license?

You can contact SageTV and ask if they still will exchange, but the official exchange period expired at the end of January IIRC.
