ATI AIW 9600XT, Change Users, support forgot

I am confused: I remember SageTV stating that ATI AIW 9600 xt was now supported. I am having a problem with changing users while recording and the XP Pro locking up. I sent email to support and he asked for log files, which I sent. After waiting for 5 days, I resubmitted the mail and he stated he has had forgot about it. He then said he asked a supervisor, and his response was "You are not using a supported capture card and that's probably why this is happening.".
Why would tuner card have anything to do with locking up while changing users? Why did everything work fine, running service only, when it was trial?
I am only using SageTV as a VCR, no server or anything else.
I have tried to find where the SageTV stated it now supported ATI, but I cannot find it now.
Anyone have any ideas? or is support just covering for forgetting about it?
Thanks,
roge

It doesn't state explicitly that it supports the ATI AIW(that i know of). Only that it supports most WDM capture devises--which i believe the AIW's are. FWIW-i never was able to get my AIW working properly as well as my 9600XT VIVO....haven't tried with the latest betas though

I had tried beta before and it did the same thing. What is wierd, is the trial worked great running service only but when I bought SageTV, I had to reinstall it so I went with 4.13 which is what I thought the trial was and that is when the problem started.
