Major issues with comskip/malore3.13 and dynamic menu stvi

I'm getting really frusterated... I can't figure out what's the problem here.

I'm using SageTV4.0 and SageTV Client 4.0

Here's the general process I go through to enable dynamic menus and comskip:

1. make a copy of SageTV3.stv to SageTV3 Custom.stv
2. activate the custom.stv in advanced settings
3. import dynamic menu, then comskip.

Everything works fine UNTIL I close sageTV client. Upon reopening, the comskip stvi disappears and I have to reimport it. After reimporting comskip, I get random issues with the menus, until the whole thing locks up and I have to restart from the beginning.

More recently, I've tried using malore's 3.13 stv and stvi (which includes comskip functionality) with dynamic menus and that also results in chaos. Is there just something that doesn't jive between comskip and dynamic menus? I just really like the upcoming recordings and HD space indicator strip that dynamic menus installs, and having to manually fast-forward through commercials is really annoying.
