No audio on live Tv or recorded shows

Can someone point me to the settings to adjust. I get no audio when viewing the shows, I swear I did when I first installed it, god knows what i changed.

I know that there are going to be a lot of replies on this, but there's some data needed. What kind of capture card, what kind of codecs, video card, etc....

I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the application. That seemed to sort out the problem. So as for now, everything is on a default setting..
