Bug in Sage Media Center
Okay now I know this must be a bug:
http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16743 Now I am seeing the same thing in my video files but rather than hauppauge I am seeing folder that are: ~1 ~2 ~3 and ~4 I have no idea what these are or where they are coming from. I did not see these before I went to 4.1.9 but the hauppauge files were in the music folder. I think this may be something for Opus to look at. Mike |

Do you have "show hidden files or folders" enabled and/or "hide protected system files" disabled in your Windows folder options?

I tried it both ways - normally I have show hidden files enabled but what I'm trying to explain is that these files do not exist in those folders at all.
Now - here's the interesting thing I tried - I completely removed the music folder in Sage Setup so that there are no folders for music. It still shows those 6 hauppauge files even though I have told Sage to not have folders at all for music. Why is this happening? Mike |

Hello - I'm still waiting for some help on this. I still have no idea why Sage is doing this? I'm still thinking it's a bug but I don't know whey the folders have chosen to show up at this time. Any ideas?
Thanks, Mike |

Do you still have this problem in 4.1.10? If so, can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Yes - I just installed 4.1.10 now and still have the problem with my Music and Video folders. I have made a RED LINE through real songs that are fine in my upload (so as to not advertise or just keep information confidential). I have also tried deleting the Sage Client properties file. I have not deleted the main Sage properties file. This problem exists both with the Sage and GermSage. I'm stumped but here are the two attachments when I click either Imported Videos or Music. Does anyone know why I'm seeing this - I can assure you that they are not folders in folders. I've included two attachment jpg files.
Thanks for the help, Mike |

I erased and configured my sage properties file and it fixed the problem in the video directory. But, the phantom files in the Music directory remain. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to fix this problem.
Thanks, Mike |
