Birtles Paramount+1
Hi
Radiotimes don't provide listings for paramountcomedy+1. The Birtles xmltv grabber that I use has a postprocessor that can generate the listings from the paramountcomedy data. I have switched the postprocessor on and the listings seem to have been included in my xml file however the new channel does not appear in sage. The postprocessor concatenates "+1" on the channel id. After advice from birtles himself I tried to change "+" to "_", but to no avail I have attached an excerpt from my xml file - can anyone see why the channel does not appear? Anyone used the postprocessor successfully with sage? thanks paul ps I also only seeem to have 3 days worth of data in my guide - is that normal? Can't remember if I had more than that before |

Hi Paul - I use Alan's grabber to generate all my +1 channels without any problems (even with the default +1 naming).
Did you get any errors listed in the gui window when you ran the grabber? As long as the grabber completes fully you should get 14 days of listings, before the postprocessor runs and adds in your +1 channel. I've seen comments on Alan's website recommending that you delete the cache files if you suspect they may be causing problems. Did you force Sage to update it's EPG data after you added the new channel to the XML? If you don't do this the channel won't appear until Sage updates for the day. Cheers, SidKnee BTW I did mange to cause a problem for the grabber by renaming all my unused LUA scripts so that they didn't appear in the gui. For some reason this caused the +1 postprocessor to fail - reporting an error in the gui window, in the postprocessor script (line 17 failed copy null value, or something similar). Once I put all the scripts back to normal the problem cleared, and the post processor ran normally. |

I upgraded my java and forgot to copy the xerces.jar into the new java install.
It is needed by the xmltv importer that I use. I now have my full compliment of EPG listings and paramount+1 thanks for your help |
