Java errors for client

My roommate has sage TV 4.0.0 running on a server. I've downloaded the client for 4.0.0 and when I run it, I get a Java error: java.lang.NullPointerException. I've verified I have the current version of Java and DirectX. I've also tried downloading the 4.1.3 client, but get the same error message. My roommates laptop running the 4.0.0 client works just fine. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

A couple things I can think of to try would be to make sure there is only a single install of java, or make sure java is uninstalled, then reinstall SageTV & let it install the version of java that it comes with to see if that helps.

BTW: a v4.1 client won't be able to connect to a v4.0 server.
