6200 Video Card

My 5200 just died (chip literally burt completely out of the board). So I was planning on replacing it with a 6200 AGP LP card that has SVideo out. Anyway, my question is about PureVideo. Previously I was using the PureVideo software from Nvidia. The 6200 says it supports PureVideo. But my 5200 worked good with it too. I'm confused. Does the 6200 have hardware PureVideo support, and I won't need to use the software from Nvidia any longer? Or will I still need to download the software, only now it will work better?

The 5200 did not support the "pure video" features fo the nvidia dvd decoders, the 6200 will support some of them, but not all. You will still need to use the purevideo decoders as they unlock hardware features available in the 6200. They are designed to be used together.
