Don't buy from Tigerdirect.com

Why you ask? I haven't had a problem till now. I was wondering why my bad review of some PNY memory wasn't posted. I was told on the phone "they only post good reviews". "They will not post a bad review of products they sell"! I don't need to tell you the point of reivews is to see the good and bad. I think I'll change my ID at all the forums to "Dont_buy_from_tigerdirect.com". Sorry, but I have to spread the news. Anything to help bring their buisness down.

hmm, i have seen many a bad review on newegg...most recently when searching for a motherbaord. There are many with only 1 'star' or whatever they use. Not sure why they 1. didn't post your review and 2. told you that on the phone.....just doesn't make sense with what reviews they already have on their site.

Because Newegg and Tigerdirect are different companies?
I don't have much experience with TD and most reviews on NE are incomplete.

The fact that they don't publish bad reviews just makes me not want to read the crappy positive ones... which I already don't.

Ha, I stopped dealing with Tiger about 8 or so years ago. That's back when most of their business was through their catalog.

As it stands I make all of my purchases through Newegg, Zipzoomfly and Buy.com. If one of them don't have it, I don't need it!

I really like Newegg as they have a warehouse in NJ and I'm in NY. I ordered something Monday around 4PM and had it Tuesday at Noon! Standard shipping...

that is lame that they don't give equal space for good and bad reviews.
I have been dealing with Tiger for a while now and have had very good luck with them. To date I haven't had a problem, and will continue to deal with them. The only thing is I will now ignore the reviews all together, or I will take products that don't have a review on it as possibly only having a bad review.
I may send them a message letting them know that as well. I value an unbiased group of reviews more than an editorial for a review.

Odd. I've seen plenty of single * bad reviews on TigerDirect. Sales clerks may sound authoritative, but that doesn't mean they are "in the know".

I usually don't order from them because of shipping charges to my area.
