Client aspect ratio

I'm evaluating the Sage alongside Beyond TV.
I'm having problems with client aspect ratio when watching regular 4:3 tv.
It looks OK on the server, however client is always showing everything squeezed vertically (short, fat people) no matter what aspec ratio I choose in client configuration (source/fill/4:3).
Sometimes after playing with the setting it will show one channel properly but changing to another channel will give wrong (squeezed) view.
From time to time it looks like it's only showing half of the prgram window stretched to fill the screen, ie. - I get full screen but when there is any text I can see that the right portion of the text is off the screen.
This is without any rhyme or reason, like it has a mind of it's own.
I'm running straight newest 4.1 client/server without any modifications.
I like what I see so far, but this aspect ratio stuff is a complete show stopper.
