Which xerces.jar?

Where do you guys get your xerces.jar files??

I found a link here on Sage forums, but its dead, so I googled.

Hmm. xerces.apache.org/xerces-j/ is the first hit I got when I started looking around - but they don't seem to have that particular file anymore. I went through their archived files and found a download package, in which I founda file with that name - but there were dozens of downloads, so I have no idea whether I got the right version.

Can anyone help get straightenend out here? In fact, if there is a "standard" version, perhaps someone could post it. OTOH, perhaps those newer downloads from apache.org have what it takes. Was I supposed to install one of them instead?

Confused,

Mike

I had to download a package and rename one of the files, I don't remember all of the details right now, but I will try to upload the file today.

Couldn't upload it because it is too big. I will try to find the doc that I found that just says you need to rename the file from one of the downloadable java packages.

Arrgh - of course. They're too big. Anyway, I pulled a xerces.jar out of an old version on the apache website and have copied it hither and yon. I think it's working - at least, when I put 00000 in as my zip code, I come through to the xmltv option, and begin downloading channel information. Now if I could just actually *get* the channels ... at the moment I end up with a blank screen ...

Or could it be that I'm getting blank screens because I have the wrong sort of xerces.jar file ... ?

Try using Nielm's plugin tester and see if you get any errors.
