Infrared Keystroke Linking?
Are the settings for my infrared keystroke linking using my USB-UIRT directly into the Sage program saved in the properties file? I just want to make sure I can't get it back without completly reprograming all my commands. I was trying to start with a simple install to see if I have any of my issues that I have been having so many of with windows XP. But I can't reinstate the properties file if I want to do this just for my remote control. Thanks.

All IR mappings learned directly by SageTV are stored in the ui/rc_mappings/<command name> properties.
If you want to save/restore those learned IR codes, all you would have to do is copy & paste all those lines. Conversely, you could just remove those lines to reset all the commands. - Andy

Thank's Opus, couldn't find that in the FAQ, is it in there? Might be nice to add if it isn't. Thanks again.

Is this still the case, Opus? I was just looking in my most recent sage.properties file and the 'ui/rc_mappings/' properties don't seem to be their anymore. But the remote still works and the SageTV UI shows the commands linked still. Was this removed in the more recent versions of sage or moved somewhere else?
Thanks |

If you're running Sage in service mode you need to look in SageClient.properties for UI configuration settings (since you've divorced the UI from the main app).

Oh yeah, forgot about that when you are running the UI with the service that it gets it's own settings...
