Problem with tuning channels

Problem with tuning channels

Some times when sage changes chanels I just get a black screen and no sound, changing to a different chanel and back again fixes the problem. The only info I have is that it only does this for tuners hooked up to stb's the tuners hooked direct to the cable do not have this trouble. I wanted to know if there is some setting that could be changed to make sage wait long enough for the stb to finish changing chanels before recording the video, that might fix this issue.
