Video skipping in 1.4
Every since I upgraded to 1.4, I've noticed that Sage loses about a second of video every few minutes. I've also noticed that when I'm watching DVD with WinDVD, _while Sage is recording_, WinDVD "jerks" forward by about a second every few minutes also.
Any idea what causes this? I've got an Athlon 2400, 1GB RAM, 160GB HD, 120GB HD. Both drives are formatted w/ 64K clusters. The system is dedicated to home theater. |

I've had this problem too, and so far have been unable to resolve it. Previous versions of sage never did this. I added a second tuner when going to the new version, so that could be part of the problem, but if others are experencing this under 1.4.10 then that may be more likely.

Well, I didn't change my driver at all. I'll check the driver level, but I have very poor luck whenever I try to change the WinTV driver to anything other than whatever is currently installed.
