Two pvr-150 retail

Hi,

I have recently built a HTPC with two hauppauge pvr-150 retails (with IRBlaster for each).

I am evaluating the SageTV at the moment and noticed in the manual something about not being able to use the two IRBlaster ?!

I use the card with sattelite receiver which mean I will need to be able to control each of the STB with its own IRBlaster -

So obviously the question here is if I can do that or not ?

Sivilya -

If you have multiple pvr 150 cards, you can only use the baster for one of them (hauppauge driver, not a sage limitation).

If you satellite box has a low speed data port on it, I would use a serial cable to control it. If not you will need another ir-blaster such as a usb-uirt.

There is a lot of information about both methods of controlling external boxes in the forums.
