Utility to scan for bad Video files ??

With 2 terabytes of storage on my HTPC network, I haved accumulated a let of MPEG2 files. I suspect that I have also accumulated (over a period of time) many that are defective in one way or another... perhaps causing some of the miscellaneous Sage 4 hangs/crashes that I see.
If Sage crashes at the same place of a specific video, then I delete the video. This is *very* time consuming and frustrating.

It would be great to have a utility that could scan all my video files and identify any that are defective or corrupt.

Does anyone know of such a utility?
