Error in playback
Can anyone tell me why I'm getting the following error
 I've setup both tuner (pvr-500) and the channel guide reflects that of my lineup in my area, I just don't know where to go from here? Also I have a problem installing 4.1. I go through the installation and at the end, it just hangs. I left the setup running over night to see if something happens, but no luck

All I remember hearing about that error is that it is just some sort of generic error & you should try reinstalling. The fact that the installer wasn't exiting could be the issue, since maybe something important didn't complete.
After uninstalling, delete the entire SageTV directory. You can save your wiz.bin file, if you have any important viewing history or recording info in it, but do not keep your properties files. If the installer still doesn't complete, then I'm not sure what to suggest other than to contact tech support. Make sure nothing else is running that could possibly interfere with installation. - Andy
