Newbie questions
I have been searching around for a little while and have not been able to find answers to the following questions, and I was curious if anyone could be of assistance.
1) Is there a way to specify programs that you want SageTV to launch, and have buttons for those programs in SageTV? I use my HTPC for TV and Emulation, and I would like to be able to call my Emulation from SageTV. 2) Is there a nice, quick way to change resolutions? I have a 4:3 Sony KV32HS510. It will do 480 and 1080i natively, when I am watching Hi-Def I would like it to be in 1080i mode, but when I switch to standard def or emulation I want it to be in 480 mode (Since the TV is 4:3 if I run Hi-def it forces everything in to 16:9 then displays bars on the side if the source is 4:3, thus making them image only roughly half of the screen.) 3) I saw that the MyHD130 is not currently support, but I saw some people have been messing around with the TCP command and control for the MyHD software and I was curious to see if SageTV development had any rough dates to add the MyHD to the supported platforms, if at all. I don't mind scripting things if I need to, but I am trying to make this as user friendly as possible. Any help would be appreciated. -Nebruin Last edited by Nebruin; 02-08-2006 at 01:24 PM. |

Hi,
Regarding question #1 I can tell you that the sageMCE16x9 .stv does give one the ability to launch external programs. Check the listing of available customizations. I think I saw a fairly recent addition that allows changes to A/R. There may be something there you can use re. screen resolution?? Have fun, Jesse |
